Week 9 ~ Hiphop and Quickstep~

Tonight, each of the remaining five pairs will perform a brand new dance chosen by the fans by a Twitter vote. Fans voted for Zendaya and Val to perform Hip-Hip in addition to the Quickstep. Aly and Mark will be giving Afro Jazz a try along with performing the Rumba. The other season 16 favorites, Kellie Picker and Derek Hough, will be performing the Flamenco (fans' choice) and Argentine Tango.

This leaves Jacoby Jones and Ingo Rademacher. It will take a miracle for Ingo to move onto the final week, but he will give it a try performing the Charleston (fans' choice) and the Samba. Jacoby is a long shot to make it to the final three, unless of course the show goes with the top four going into week 10. He will be performing the Lindy Hop for the fans' choice, but he and Karina Smirnoff have yet to reveal their second dance.

300th Celebration

To celebrate the show's 300th episode, Dancing with the Stars will open Tuesday's show with a choreographed number by Jason Gilkison. There will be 22 pros performing on the ballroom floor, including some returning favorites.

Tomorrow night's results show will also feature performances from Avril Lavigne and The Wanted. Lavigne will perform her new single, "Here's to Never Growing Up," while The Wanted will perform "Fill a Heart."

What to Watch For

Tuesday night will be a night of stars and drama. With the show celebrating its 300th episode, it'll be star-studded affair. However, tonight is the show to watch, for those of you who have been following all season.

Jacoby has done a fantastic job this season, but this is a three-person race. Forget Ingo and Jacoby, this season comes down to Aly, Kellie and Zendaya. Although I don't expect the fan-chosen dances to screw any of them up, maybe we can finally get a clear-cut favorite after tonight.

Going into the performances, the breakdown from the top three during their individual performances this season goes like this:

Zendaya is averaging a 26.6 with two high scores of 29.
Kellie Picker is averaging a 26.4 with two high scores of 29.
Aly is averaging a 25.6 with two high scores of 29.

It's razor thin atop the Dancing with the Stars leaderboard. Tune in tonight at 8pm on ABC to see if any of these three stars can pull away heading into the final week.

Week 8 ~Foxtrot,Salsa,and Music Video!~

(Above is the Zendaya: Beat of my Drum Dancing with the Stars music video)
Ahead of next week’s semi-finals, the six remaining celebrities tonight each had to perform two individual dance routines — one with his or her regular dance pro partner, and a second with another  professional dancer added.
At the end of the show, Disney star Zendaya was in the lead, having earned the first perfect score of the season for her trio routine, and  “The Bachelor” star Sean Lowe was in last place.
The star with the lowest combined tally of judges’ scores and viewers’ votes will be eliminated from the competition on Tuesday.
Also tonight, viewers were asked to tweet their choice of dance style for an upcoming performance for each of the remaining competitors. The choices were hip hop, lindy hop, afro jazz, the Charleston, disco and flamenco.
This is the ABC show’s 16th season.
First Routine
Zendaya: The Disney’s star’s whimsical foxtrot won judges over. Head judge Len Goodman called the routine “a pretty dance,” adding: “I’m telling you, (in) this competition, the longer it goes on the harder it gets. In your case, the longer it goes on, the stronger you get.” Bruno Tonioli called Zendaya’s performance “pure, graceful, light,” telling her she was “like a breath of fresh air.” Carrie Ann Inaba said she thought the beginning of the routine was a “little weak” but said later parts of the routine took her breath away. Zendaya earned 28 out of a possible 30 points.
Zendaya:  Judges approved of the Zendaya’s trio dance — a sassy salsa with partner Val Chmerkovskiy and pro Gleb Savchenko. Goodman said the routine properly showcased Zendaya’s skill, and Tonioli called it “a star turn, sizzling and dazzling and amazing.” Carie Ann called Zendaya “the queen of salsa,” adding that she loved the choreography. Zendaya earned 30 points — the first perfect score of the season.

Week 7 ~Paso Doble~

This week the contestants danced to a Latin inspired hit song.  Kellie and Derek danced the Samba.
Zendaya and Val danced the Paso Doble and like Kellie and Derek scored 29/30.  Len told the duo that their performance was full of “snap, crackle, and pop,” while Bruno said to the pair that it was “gob-smacking gorgeous” and that Zendaya had “mesmerizing shape.” Carrie Ann told the pair that they “blew her away” and they set the tone for a night that made her feel sorry for everyone after them.

Week 6 ~ Cha Cha~

Disney Channel teen starlet Zendaya and country singer Kellie Pickler continue to raise the bar on season 16 of ABC's"Dancing With the Stars."
Last week, the two competitors received the highest scores from the panel of judges. They were selected to captain the team dances this week. Zendaya and partner Val Chmerkovskiy led Team Paso Doble, while Pickler and partner Derek Hough shepherded Team Samba on Monday night's broadcast.
Team Paso Doble received a 22, while Team Samba scored a 25 for their far superior group effort.
During the individual dances on "Stevie Wonder Night," Zendaya and Pickler repeated their week 5 success and had the best scores of the night. Zendaya scored a near-perfect 29 out of 30 for her cha-cha-cha set to "Do I Do," while Pickler also received a 29 for her quickstep performed to "Part-Time Lover."
Judges' scores and viewer votes will determine which of the eight remaining celebrity contestants will be eliminated on Tuesday night. (Comic Andy Dick and boxer Victor Ortiztied for last place with 18 points each from judges).

~Week 5~Argentine Tango

Zendaya Coleman and Val Chmerkovskiy danced an Argentine tango next to Maks and Anna, earning standing ovation from the audience. Bruno said, "Next to Anna, you were as good and as strong," Carrie Ann loved it, and Len compared it to a lemon tart, "sharp and tangy at the top, crisp and tangy down below." The Disney star got the first 10s of the season for a total score of 29 this week.

On the 4th week of Dancing With The Stars 2013, performance night (April 8) Zendaya Coleman and dance partner Val Chmerkovskiy danced the Samba to “Love on Top” by Beyonce. Len Goodman saidhe would have preferred “a little more samba in the solo,” but “you are a fantastic dancer”. She earned Bruno and Carrie Ann’s praise, earning 26/30. Zendaya celebrated 2009, the year she had her first Disney audition and was “discovered” in Los Angeles

Week 3 ~ Viennese Waltz~

On Dancing With the Stars Season 16, Week 3 performances tonight (April 1), Zendaya Colemanand Val Chmerkovskiy impressed everyone yet again with their Prom Night Viennese Waltz. Not only was this Zendaya’s first prom experience, but it was a heartfelt dance — she dedicated the performance to her grandma, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, dancing to “Que Sera, Sera” while wearing a replica of her grandma’s dress. She started off in a gondolas, but the duo immediately started spinning around in tandem, moving to the sweeping melody of the song before ending in an intricate floor spin. “You had this incredible lyrical quality to your movements and you’re so good, but I still feel like the best is yet to come,” Carrie Ann said. “Your dancing is natural ... you move effortlessly,” Len added, and surprise, surprise — they scored 24/30.
